Men’s Health Network (MHN) is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to reach men, boys, and their families where they live, work, play, and pray with health awareness and disease prevention messages and tools, screening programs, educational materials, advocacy and patient navigation.
We have long believed that medicines imported from other countries are often not held to the high standards that we expect and rely upon. Allowing drug importation would prevent us from ensuring that the safest level of care is being provided, and increase the possibility of irresponsible and unviable alternatives being mixed into our drug supply.
Importation is not a solution to a problem. Instead, it is a huge new problem that will add additional burden and concern to our health system.
