Congress set to cut prostate cancer funding at CDC: 2007

July 2007 House of Representatives, LHHS bill (p 303) provides for a decrease in prostate cancer programs at the Centers for Disease Control from $14.09m down to $13.88m. Receiving increases are Breast & Cervical Cancer up $10.4m; Diabetes up $5.6m; Oral Health up $1.9m; TB up $18.2m; STDs up $53.9m; WISEWOMAN up $7.2m
