Become an Ambassador

Are you ready to help lead? Ambassadors champion men’s health by aligning their strengths with the needs of the cause. For example, if you work in community health, you may elect to be an MHN Ambassador at health fairs to educate men and families. If you’re a coach, you may elect to be an Ambassador to your team or clients, informing them about men’s health. If you like raising funds for causes that help further men’s health, you might want to be an Ambassador to others who are willing to help support us.

MHN wants you to be Ambassador in the way that you want. As an ambassador, you’ll serve as a community leader, advocating for health initiatives, sharing vital information, and representing Men’s Health Network at local and national events. Your voice can make a significant impact in closing the gender lifespan gap. With you as part of the network, doing what you’re passionate about and making a difference, we’ll help save lives and close the Gender LifeSpan Gap.

With offices located in Alexandria, VA and a presence on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, MHN works to educate policy makers, the media, and the public on the health crisis facing today’s men and the need for both men and women to know about male specific diseases and how male health problems affect the workplace, the economy, and family and other loved ones.

Our interns take a hands-on approach with our team and opportunities include but aren’t limited to:

Health outreach:

  • Development of original health informational brochures and literature hand-outs
  • Represent MHN at health fairs, trade shows and public policy events
  • Internet correspondence with various health email groups

Communications:

    Partnership

Men Deserve More Time—Let’s Make It Happen. Right now, men live nearly six years less than women, and the gap is growing. That means more lives are cut short, more families are left without fathers, brothers, and sons, and more opportunities to create lasting change are missed. But this isn’t just a statistic—it’s a call to action.

At Men’s Health Network, we’re working to close the lifespan gap through education, advocacy, and support. But we can’t do it alone. Partners like you play a critical role in shifting the conversation, improving access to care, and driving real change in the health outcomes that impact men and their families.

Join us in building a future where every man can live a longer, healthier life. Let’s work together to change the narrative and give men the time they deserve. Here are a few areas of focus to help men and their families:

    • Cancer
    • Cardiovascular Health
    • Managing Chronic Conditions
    • Mental Health and Wellbeing
    • Building a network of providers
    • Developing Healthy Lifestyle Habits
    • Community Engagement

Some of the ways in which we’re reaching men and families to improve outcomes and deliver tangible benefits to our partners include:

    • The Gap Guide: Must have digital download for every man and his family to have that will add at least six years to their lives.
    • Certified Men’s Health Educator: We’re training health care professionals and peer leaders to be mentors to educate men and help them identify areas where they can improve health seeking behaviors and how to find support resources within their communities.
    • Men’s Health Summits: MHN works with faith-based communities, community health-centers, and local nonprofit organizations to convene at-risk men in a summit health fair series to provide the support, education, and resources they need.
