These inequities should be prohibited under Section 92.1, as males are being systematically excluded from numerous benefits which are granted to females. MHN's suggested changes to the law.

Men visit their healthcare providers less frequently than women. 1 in 3 American men suffers from a condition related to cardiovascular disease, and cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for men. Draft research plan regarding Sexual Transmitted Infections Behavioral Counseling. MHN agrees that STD counseling should be part of many healthcare visits, and a necessary component of a preventive healthcare visit, but there is little opportunity for men to receive counseling because the Affordable Care Act does not provide for regular preventive healthcare visits for men as it does for women.
