Mission Statement
Women Against Prostate Cancer (WAPC) is a national organization working to unite the voices and provide support for the millions of women affected by prostate cancer, and their families. WAPC advocates prostate cancer education, public awareness, screenings, legislation, and treatment options.
What is Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer strikes 1 in 6 men and has a devastating effect on family and friends of the victim. Prostate cancer can almost always be treated and cured if caught early.

What Women Can Do
Women can take the leadership role and win the fight for an increase in funding for prostate cancer research and screening, encourage regular screening among men, and change the way prostate cancer is viewed by policy makers and society.
