Come join the Office of Minority Health (OMH) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a town hall-style discussion to examine the historical, social, economic, physical and biological factors that contribute to increased rates of premature death among racial and ethnic minority men. This event will allow men an opportunity to sound off on the social determinants of health they face.
The goal for each session is to begin conversations on key areas of health focus for racial and ethnic minority men, due to their disproportionately worse health outcomes compared to other men. The topic areas for discussion include: Access to Services, Mental Health, and Prevention.
